Happy Halloween

Our Halloween festivities began on Friday afternoon with a Halloween Parade and Fall Festival at Olivia's school.  The oldest kids lead the parade so she was the second class to come out and thought she was very "big."  The teachers had braided her hair and put glitter in it and, as I'm sure you can tell from her giant grin and posing, she knew she looked cute!

After the parade, we headed to the Fall Festival.  Each class has a different booth or game that it is in charge of, so we enjoyed going around to all the various stations.

Olivia, Emma and Cate spent the entire time running around together and yelling "no parents" every time they saw us.  It was a realistic flash-forward into these 3 as teenagers.  Luckily, the school is well-contained and fairly small, so we were okay to let them have their run of it.

And on Saturday, we headed to the Williams' for our annual trick-or-treating tradition.  Aunt KK made a delicious soup dinner for us and then we headed out.

A cotton candy fairy, Princess Jasmine and Darth Sofia.

As the kids are getting older, we were able to stay out pretty late this year and they got a TON of candy!  So, once their baskets were full, we went back to the house for the sorting and trading of the candy..
