Christmas 2016

This year we spent Christmas Eve in Humble with the Mehta's.

Olivia got tons of awesome presents
 A new ornament

A Calico Critters playhouse

And she also enjoyed giving presents - like these socks that are perfect for Grandpa's naps!

Again this year we missed Yazzie but she got lots of time with Naz who gave her (along with Yazzie/Grant/Tyler) gave her some accessories for her baby dolls!

We got Mimi and Grandpa some new vests - they are "vest friends" now! :)

For lunch with had FONDUE - one of my faves!  Cheese and then chocolate!

And, just to make sure we had a sugar high, we tried out Naz's new cotton candy maker.  I foresee this being used at a future birthday party for Olivia or baby boy!

Mimi had the tree set up so pretty that I guess it called for an impromptu photo shoot!

Afterwards, we went to hear Yasmin/Grant sing at St. Paul's and for dinner but unfortunately I did not get any pics!  Then we went home to put out cookies, milk and carrots for Santa and the reindeer and put our tired little sugarplum to bed!

The next morning we woke up to lots of surprises from Santa!

Her wish list included a lemonade stand

Baby doll bunk beds

And a Calico Critters ballet theater

She was pretty happy when she saw all her loot!

And we surprised Olivia with our present too - a trip to New York!

Most of our presents for her were NY based (boots, scarf, mittens, etc).  Including this ornament of the Rockettes dancers!

And a fancy new dress for a "rawther fancy tea" at the Plaza!

Daddy also got a fancy new sportscoat

One of the best moments for me was when Olivia opened a present "To Big Sister, Love Baby Brother."  As soon as she read the tag, she got a HUGE smile on her face.  And when she opened a the present to find a new "Big Sis" charm on her bracelet, her sweet little smile grew as big as my heart!

And Santa left M&M popcorn in her stocking!

She immediately wanted to play with her new toys - apparently lemonade prices are going up.  $5.88 per glass!  Sheesh!

While she played with daddy, I made breakfast - breakfast tacos and cinnamon rolls....

We played a little more and then we packed up and headed to the Woodlands to see Popo and Tutu, where she had another pile of presents waiting for her...

And a stocking full of treats!

That she immediately consumed!

She loved her Cinderella ornament.

And lots of accessories for her Calico Critters ballet theater

One of the best presents was this GoldieBlox Zipline Action Figure that she put together with daddy!

We had a great Christmas and headed home after dinner to pack for NYC!
